Ogami by SODIC: Bloom Island homes and Nobu Residences on Egypt’s North Coast
A SODIC destination at Ras El Hekma combining island lagoon living, a low-density masterplan, and branded Nobu hotel, restaurant, and residences — with brochure starting prices and payment-plan terms as published.

Ogami is a SODIC coastal destination at Ras El Hekma on Egypt’s North Coast. The name is taken from a Japanese island associated with sunsets and quiet — a theme the developer uses throughout the masterplan: Mediterranean setting, Japanese restraint, and island-style neighbourhoods.
This overview is compiled from SODIC’s Ogami brochure, Bloom Island factsheet and brochure, Nobu Residences sales kit, and related masterplan sheets. Renders, layouts, and prices in those documents are illustrative and subject to change. Always confirm current inventory, finishing, and payment terms with SODIC.
Location and access
Ogami sits on Ras El Hekma, about 83 km from Marsa Matrouh. Brochure distances include:
• Ras El Hekma — 10 km
• El Alamein Airport — 71 km
• Sidi Abdel Rahman — 82 km
• Marsa Matrouh — 83 km
• Borg El Arab Airport — 191 km
• Cairo — 365–366 km
Approximate flight times listed in the Nobu kit: Rome ~3 hours, Dubai ~4 hours, London ~5 hours.
Masterplan: low footprint, water, and stepped views
DLR is named as master planner. The published concept is a ~15% built footprint, with homes and shared spaces arranged so nature and architecture sit close together. Ogami is designed in tiers so outlooks open toward lagoons and the Mediterranean. Marketing copy cites more than 800 metres of shoreline and over 120,000 m² of swimmable lagoons.
Island-style precincts in the main brochure include immersive, serene, playful, wellness, and social islands — covering water features, lazy lagoons, tennis/padel and 5-a-side football, a wellness centre, and a clubhouse with circular and infinity pools.
Shared amenities listed across Ogami include a multi-layered beach (beach gym, elevated beach restaurant), Beachtown retail, dual lagoons, clubhouse, wellness, retail village, racquet club, and sports courts.
Bloom Island: lagoon neighbourhood and five home types
Bloom Island is presented as a collection of island neighbourhoods surrounded by swimmable lagoons: single-family and twin-villa living, waterfront settings, and indoor–outdoor rooms (terraces, courtyards, gardens).
The Bloom Island factsheet lists five newly introduced types and starting prices (EGP millions) with starting areas:
• Oasis Twin Villa — from EGP 50M, starting area 215 sqm
• Sea Breeze Villa — from EGP 45M, starting area 180 sqm
• The Courtyard Villa — from EGP 36M, starting area 170 sqm
